Any change in this world must first come from within each person, be it peace, love, truth, liberty, “change”…

these things must be manifested and cultivated in ourselves before we can see them on the larger scale in this

world.

Until we each learn tolerance and acceptance of others and take personal responsibility for our own actions,

thoughts and so forth we can not expect to see any real change take place, only “revolutions” – Going in

Circles, again and again, never really changing anything – just dizziness, repeating the same things over and

over trying to force beliefs, dogmas and personal opinions (illusions) and so forth on others while we are

blinded by divide and conquer tactics, puppet politicians playing to the emotions of unsuspecting people,

subliminal mind control used to subdue and confuse the mind, walking around half asleep cheering for your

“side” , your “team” thinking you are awake to truth…

A supermoon occurs when the moon hits its full phase at thesame time it makes closest approach to Earth for the month, a lunarmilestone known as perigee. Scientists also refer to the event as a”perigee moon.” This year’s will occur on May 5th at 11:35 PM EST.

On my pursuit to be as emotional as I am rational some times I over think and other times I “over feel.” Today is one of those day’s where I feel both are happening and I have no control of neither… This is not common. It is however completely feasible. 

My chest is tight due to all these energy drinks I’ve been ingesting in my attempt to keep a “regular” sleeping schedule. My mind is not tired… I guess the proper term would be out of breath. So many thoughts, questions, and answers. Who am I… What next… What now… When will… 

Love is what I try to live for. I try my best to keep fear at a minimum. I guess it’s time to stop trying.

Needless to say my Mother is the Greatest ^_^ We just spoke for about an hour talking on different subjects such as religion, relationships, spirituality, school and my plans for the future. There’s what I want to do and what needs to be done. I alone will have to figure them out for Self but it’s always encouraging to bounce ideas of of someone who can unbiasly provide input although our ideas may differ.

One thing we concur on… interracial relationships are not only permittable but acceptable! I havn’t brought an african-american woman home since I graduated highschool. “Different strokes…” ^_^ I’ve read “compelling” arguments that basically state when you date outside your race it’s because you have a subcontious hate for yourself (as an individual within a collective group) which includes other factors such as intent, respect and cultural differences or short comings. She not only agress with my views on Love as a universal concept but likes the idea that one day she’ll have a mixed grand baby. Unfortunately for her if 1 comes… 7 more will follow because my 8th child WILL be named Octavian/Octavia. Hopefully I’ll be able to call here again this evening before she goes to work.

We also agree that I’m a bundle of Love with s 60s State of Mind ^_^

For those who care to know the United States government is currently seeking approval for an agreement with Afghanistan stating that it will remain “present” in the country for atleast 10 years after the Troop draw down in 2014. Besides my obvious adornment and appreciation for Human Life as a whole my question is simple. ”Why continue to burden other countries when clearly you haven’t taken care of Home?”

Prayers and Positive Thoughts go out to all my Brothers/Sisters in Arms. Fortunately for me as of October 7 I won’t have to deal with it anymore…

I’ve decided I want another camera. Yes… I already have the Nikon Coolpix but I would like something smaller and faster with a slightly easier learning curve. If I had to rate myself pertaining to the skill of photography I would give myself a 3 out of 10. I have good ideas, vision and the willingness to learn more about the art. Okay… a 4.2 ^_^ 

I’m trying to decide from the list below but if you know something better please share.

Sony NEX-5 or 7

  Has the biggest scensor in a compact frame but also would come with a higher learning curve. Most of what I’ve read indicates it is the best camera. Just not for beginners…

Nikon V1 / J1

Nikon’s attempt at the compact camera market. Although it has the smallest image sensor, pixel count and no touch screen/rotatable LCD screen is has the newest and most innovative features including the ability to shoot 60 frames per second!

 Olympus PEN E-P3

Pretty much the best of both worlds. Some innovation with an image sensor and features that compate with all the others. To be noted this camera’s little brother (PEN E-P1) was voted the best camera for beginners in the compact system camera class in 2010/11.

Currently I’m enrolled in the Astrology Career Institute pursuing certification as an Astrologer. My instructor Samuel F. Reynolds (The National Astrologer for Ebony Magazine) makes a very strong point at the beginning of our first lesson. As always I thought it would be fitting to share. Not only for general knowledge but for those who allow the celestial plain to encourage/influence their daily affairs.

“Most people incorrectly assume that their sun sign is the most important thing to understand about their horoscope. For instance, if you are a Sagittarius, you may be known for being blunt, direct, and sometimes tactless. You also may be known as someone who understands people intuitively, making you a good counselor or even salesperson. And you are also known as being a bit restless. Right?

But get this: Your sun sign accounts for maybe only 10% of what you are. Far more important is

your moon sign,which can account for as much of 40-50% of what you are. The other planets

(including the Sun) account for another 30% of who you are. Your ascendant sign (the sign that

appeared on the horizon when you were born) represents the final piece.”

Personally I believe this to be 100% true pertaining to a horoscope. Prior to attempting to interpret my own birth chart I originally was under the misconception that my birthday fell on a cusp between Scorpio and Sagittarius (Nov 22.) I perpetuated this because I feel and display core characteristics from both signs and most websites differ between start dates pertaining to Sagittarians. Some state it starts on Nov 22 while others state Nov 23. After researching it turns out both dates are true, it then becomes a matter of the time of day and the actual positionof the Sun. After speaking with Sam about it he confirmed my findings:

“Now the astrology about 11/22. Now, I don’t believe in cusps. Cusps exist forpeople who don’t know when they’re born. Otherwise, the planets have particular placements in particular signs at particular times. That’s it. We’re always blending energies that relate to some dimension of all 12 signs of the zodiac.In your case, it so happens that you are blending two signs that do capture the essence of you being on a “cusp,” because you have a Sun in Scorpio and a Moon in Sagittarius.”

Taking things further, when you look at my birth chart I actually (Astrologically speaking)have  4 planets in Sagittarius and 3 planets in Scorpio. That on top of my Ascendant being Scorpio makes 8 celestial influences between Scorpio/Sagittarius alone.

In conclusion if you read the paper, Yahoo or random websites concerning your horoscope that’s wonderful. If you want a more personal and holistic understanding of what is in the stars for you I would encourage you at the least to get your birth chart read professionally or learn how to interpret it yourself.

Today being April20, you may have heard a passing reference at the office, online, on the radioor television commenting on it being 420 (“four-twenty”), perhapsaccompanied by a brief snicker. That’s because the date has long beenassociated with smoking marijuana, and has been celebrated and mythologized inpop culture and by stoners for years.

Why the association? A number of myths abound, perhaps the most popular beingthat 420 is the police code used to signify possession of marijuana (it’s not).

The term was actually coined in 1971 in San Rafael, Calif., by a group offriends who met outside their school each day to search for a rumored plot ofabandoned pot (nice alliteration, right?). Their chosen time to meet? Youguessed it: 4:20.

Reporter Ryan Grim, in The Huffington Post article “420 History: The Story Behind April 20 Becoming’Weed Day’” documents the “true” story behind theassociation at length. Grim quotes Steve, one of the original purveyors of theterm:

We’d meet at 4:20and get in my old ’66 Chevy Impala and, of course, we’d smoke instantly andsmoke all the way out to Pt. Reyes and smoke the entire time we were out there.We did it week after week. We never actually found the patch.

But, Grim notes,they did find a useful codeword for their pastime. According to Steve:

I could say to one of my friends, I’d go, 420, and it wastelepathic. He would know if I was saying, ‘Hey, do you wanna go smoke some?’Or, ‘Do you have any?’ Or, ‘Are you stoned right now?’ It was kind oftelepathic just from the way you said it. Our teachers didn’t know what we weretalking about. Our parents didn’t know what we were talking about.

Thegroup had associations with the band the Grateful Dead, and it’s been assumedthat the band began using the term, spreading it among their followers. Laterit was picked up by marijuana magazine High Times, and it wasn’t long before itwent viral.

So there you have it. No, 420 isn’t a police code for possession of marijuana.Yes, it is the date of Adolf Hitler’s birthday. No, it isn’t the number ofchemical compounds in the drug celebrated on the date. Yes, it is, sadly, thedate of the massacre at Columbine High School in 1999, as well as the 2010explosion of the Deepwater Horizon, which led to the largest offshore oil spill in U.S. history.

It also happens to be the date that Michael Jordan set a post-season scoringrecord in 1986, putting up 63 points in an NBA playoff game against theCeltics.

As any other being of Energy I have my highs and lows. The past few days have been lower than any the past 2 months. I’ve figured out a few of the reasons why…:

1. I miss home. This is unusual as it rarely happens but to ignore the fact currently would be insanity.

2. Censorship of the web. Thanks to RC South’s overnight software update any website outside of Facebook (including Xanga) for the most part is blocked or censored. How am I typing this weblog now? If I told you they would block it ^_^

3. Nicotine… My battle with smoking began in Dec 2010. Since them I’ve been on and off. It’s physically mentally and spiritually exhausting because I can’t seem to get my 3 “self’s” to concur on the issue. To make things worse I promised Trini I would quit 2 weeks ago.

4. Negative Energy. There’s a lot here and I guess it’s starting to get to me. I weather this storm.

Ironically a fellow dreamer felt my “low levels of motivation” and sent a message to ensure I stay on the path of Love and Light ^_^

On a Lighter note I got mail today! I received “Russell Grant’s Astrology” for my Nintendo DS and “Astrology – A Cosmic Science “written by Isabel M. Hickey. I also slept for 9 hours which is A LOT for me. In the midst of chaos I remind myself of 2 things: Life is a Gift and Love is Eternal. So now that I reflect have I been inconvenienced? Yes. Has that affected my ability to continue Life or stop Loving? No. Despite my “discomforts” today was a good day. Regardless, I still can’t wait to get home!!!
